Adult Basic Education

We offer one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing and basic math throughout Chatham County at times and locations agreeable to the tutor and student. Our sites include:

• Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro
• Central Carolina Community College in Siler City
• Evergreen Methodist Church in Pittsboro
• Carolina Meadows in North Chatham County
• Galloway Ridge in North Chatham County
• Other public locations across the county - such as churches, restaurants and libraries - that are convenient for the student and tutor.

English as a Second Language

Note: Classes will not meet on Federal Holidays and will follow school district inclement weather policies; when the local school system is closed, our classes will not meet.

Group classes at North Chatham Elementary School on Lystra Road

• Tuesday 6-8 pm

Group classes at Cole Park Plaza, North Chatham

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 am - noon

Group classes at Iglesia Bautista, 1831 North Chatham Avenue in Siler City

(English as a Second Language classes are also held at the church at this time)

• Pittsboro: Central Carolina Community College
• Siler City: Central Carolina Community College
• North Chatham County: Galloway Ridge, Carolina Meadows, and Evergreen Methodist Church
• Throughout Chatham County: At churches, restaurants, libraries and other public locations that are convenient for the student and tutor.
